Pastels
I will be creating your portrait in Pastels. I have been using this medium since I began doing portraits. Pastels are colored chalk/ charcoal and the pallet is extensive, allowing for a perfect match to the colors of your pet. Pastels are also soft, so they are just right for fur and feathers. If possible I work on high quality, acid free mat board. However, if I can’t find it in the right color I will search for the color needed in the best pastel paper available.
Regarding framing, you can have it framed by someone of your choice after you receive it or I will frame it for you. The price is $150 for a double mat and frame. We can work together on the colors if you decide to go this route.
